There are lots of options available when designing wooden decking. We are on hand to help with all design elements and are happy to offer advice we feel will help.
What makes our wooden decking different?
We like to call our decking seamless. Why? This means we don’t put joints within the lengths. This involves spending loads of time at the builder’s yard picking out the best lengths of timber which are straight. Also, the decking needs to be made to a multiple of the lengths if timber available.
This really improves the overall look of decking. There are other benefits as well. Over time decking boards can shift a little if cuts are used. This can look unsightly and will likely lead to the decking not lasting as long as it is possible.
You are able to make sure that your wooden decking lasts as long as possible by treating it regularly. Wood products have come on so much in recent years. It is really important to protect the wood and again there are many options available in relation to wood finishes. Natural wood finishes as well as fully painted finishes offer great protection and elongate the life of your decking.
What made this design different?
To preserve nature and the environment the tree in our client’s garden was made into a feature. We built the deck around it, making it come through the decking instead of cutting it down.
This tree attracts lots of bees and at the moment. Looking after the bees in our lives is becoming very important as their natural environment is being destroyed.
We work very hard to produce the highest possible finishes for each of our joinery projects. If you would like to find out more or would like a quote for wood decking, please get in touch by calling 07887 987427.
