We were asked to complete this wooden decking in Frodsham, Cheshire. It was a large decking project, spanning the width of the house. The property needed disabled access, so a ramp was also built up to the decking level as well.
When building a deck, it is important to use quality materials. This ensures that the lifespan of the deck is as long as possible. What is the average lifespan of a wood deck? This tends to be around ten to fifteen years. This can extend to twenty years. However, this would require maintenance of the decking including recoating and weatherproof sealing.
The deck needed to have level access into the property. Therefore, much planning needs to be put into place to ensure this is possible along all access points. The end result completely transformed the look of the property and provided our clients with a huge space to enjoy being outside.
It is important to do your research when looking to find a reputable joiner. Make sure you know what type of wood you would like to use and be realistic about your budget. Quality does cost but cutting corners is false economy.
We have designed many decks; each being individual. There are so many options available. Some clients want to have wooden balustrades or handrails, and some don’t.
We are able to offer incredible design ideas to ensure the best result for your joinery project.
Our client was really happy with the results we provided. As soon as the project was finished, our client quickly dressed it with patio furniture and flowerpots.
We only use high quality materials so that our results are long-lasting and durable. Are you planning a new deck project? Would you like more information about your choices? Please call us today on 07887 987427.
